Welcome to ChannelBV! This is the place to find community news and discussion about the people, activities and events in and around the wonderful town of Buena Vista, Colorado. It’s a place to coordinate hiking trips. It’s a place to find out what happened at the last town meeting. It’s a place to meet local artists and writers and business people. It’s a place to talk about the music festival or Gold Rush Days or rafting or winter. Above all, it’s the place to share your ideas about the things that go on in your town.

News: Here you will find articles written by your friends and neighbors about events in town, issues they care about and all things Buena Vista. Have an opinion to share? We will be hosting a series of events to show you how to participate. We are also always looking for new articles - suggest an article or story from the submit a story button in the navigation bar.

Forums: The best way to explore an idea with your fellow Buena Vistans is in the ChannelBV forums. Come and discuss whatever is on your mind. If you want to discuss town issues, talk about a great new book, get on a soapbox about water rights or setup an art show, the forums are a great place to do it. Free Classified Ads: Communities need an easy way to swap their stuff. Inspired by craigslist, Mid Mountain Classifieds, our sister site, offers free classified ads with photos to the citizens of Chaffee, Lake and Park Counties. Businesses may also place ads for a nominal fee.
