COLORADO’S FUTURE

State Treasurer Cary Kennedy will be speaking THIS THURSDAY, 3/6, at 5:30-6:20 pm in the BV School Board room on N. Court Street.  She will be touching on Amendment 23, Tabor, Gallagher, Ref. C and how they all affect each other, along with the possibility of changing how we fund education.  There is a Build a Better Colorado group that includes local folks working to educate the public and trying to get better funding for education and changing the taxing structure when Ref. C goes away (2011).  These aren’t glamour issues, but they are fundamental to our students and how we educate people who will be making important decisions in the future.  Please come listen and bring your questions.
