Local Buena Vistan, Lachlan Clarke, made it to the finish line of the Iditarod sled dog race Friday morning, March 14. The entire race took him 11 days, 20 hours, 5 minutes, and 19 seconds to complete. Lach finished 47th out of a total of 96 competitors who started the race. This was the fourth time Lach has raced in the Iditarod and the best he’s ever done. Check out the Iditarod website here for more details. Also, if you want to see some more photos from the back of the sled and some close ups of his team, check out Ten Shillings. Congratulations, Lach, and we look forward to seeing you back at home soon!
