Alex T writes: Finally! Scientific validation is at hand!! Scientific American just published this delightful article talking about the direct psychological and physiological benefits that blogging has in store for you when you *hint hint wink nudge* start blogging! From the article:

“Research shows that it (blogging) improves memory and sleep, boosts immune cell activity and reduces viral load in AIDS patients, and even speeds healing after surgery. A study in the February issue of the Oncologist reports that cancer patients who engaged in expressive writing just before treatment felt markedly better, mentally and physically, as compared with patients who did not. “

So there you go, a whole raft of new reasons to quit bottling up those ideas and start sharing them with the world. If you’re interested, why not check out a few articles we’ve written in the past on the subject. Or better yet, come take my workshop on blogging offered through CMC and your local SBDC office tonight!

If your not quite ready to jump in with both feet, next time your around town, ask folks if they’re blogging about their ideas, their businesses or whatever. You might be surprised just how many people in Buena Vista are doing it! (Who’ve I missed? Post ‘em in the comments!)
