We could not help but post today about the recent declaration by Buena Vista Mayor, Cara Russell, of today, September 12, 2008, being Dustin Urban Day. This is in honor of Dustin’s recent achievement at winning the bronze medal in the World Cup of Freestyle Kayaking competition held last month in Europe. The proclamation states:

Whereas, Dustin has provided inspiration to others by striving for greater achievement and has brought honor to this town through his excellent sportsmanship and athletic ability…

We couldn’t agree more. Congratulations, Dustin!
