Today, we thought we’d draw your attention to a little article about Buena Vista localer, Grant Heilman, featured in the latest issue of High Country News. The story gives a wee bit of background as to how Grant became a photographer and how he has watched the photography industry change in recent years:
Grant also started a stock image business, which still sells photos with agricultural themes (GrantHeilmanPhotography.com). The business has done well, says Grant, but technology has changed everything — now there’s an army of amateur photographers selling digital images for as little as a dollar each through “microsites.”
