We’ve posted it on ChannelBV’s press releases page, but thought it may be worthwhile mentioning again…

Our State Senator Gail Schwartz will have a town meeting this Thursday, 10/16, 1:30-3 at Sangre De Cristo community room. She will be accompanied by Director Ari Zavaras, Colorado Department of Corrections and Mr. Karl Spieker, CFO.

The focus of her meeting will be energy related issues (weatherization, home heating costs, long term energy solutions) as well as ballot initiatives and as always, she looks forward to hearing about the issues the communities of Chaffee County believe are important. Director Zavaras and Mr. Speiker will be available for questions and concerns relating to the prisons and DOC.

I’ll be interested in hearing about what her ideas are on long term energy solutions.
